RETAIL THERAPY MAGAZINE

Targeting 16 - 25 year olds and produced by Skillsmart Retail in partnership with The Independent Educational Publishing, Retail Therapy is a lifestyle magazine designed to reflect the sector and to raise general awareness of the opportunities within the industry.

Focusing on retail companies and people who work in the sector, the articles are written so that they are readable and of general interest rather than in the dry and in your face fashion used by most careers magazines. Complimenting these articles are snippets and stories about the industry itself and the many products that it sells including a fashion page (a retail buyer's recommendations), gadgets, books, music and much more.

Launched in October 2002, the magazine is sent free to all Careers Services, Colleges, Schools, Learning Providers and Universities as well as to individuals on request. Most retail learning providers now use the publication as part of their efforts to enrol young people onto their retail related programmes, plus it is promoted by the Independent newspaper as well as being used extensively by Skillsmart Retail in their efforts to promote the industry through careers events.
